Application & Desktop Virtualization

Virtualization of client computers generally can be divided into desktop virtualization and application virtualization. Desktop virtualization involves switching desktop environments into the data center where users can proactively monitor desktops. The solution makes it easy to administer, extend the working life of the workstations, reduces overall costs, increases data security and accelerates performance of applications.

Virtualization of applications includes the centralization of user applications on servers in data centers. On these servers, the applications that would otherwise be installed on user workstations are run, and so the application files only travel to the user. This dramatically reduces time to deploy new applications or upgrade existing ones. We also realize savings in the process of updating hardware on the user side, since the resources required to ensure the execution of applications are on the server side.

The traditional way to install applications has become extremely complex and expensive. IT is in a constant struggle with updating and upgrading existing applications to a number of workstations within the organization. In the meantime, applications and data contained on the workstations are not secure and create conflicts, causing a slow work of the applications, or even frequent applications failure. As a result, IT costs are constantly rising.

Application Virtualization is a quick solution that enables all applications to be managed in data centers and delivered to users anywhere, via any network and any device. Application Virtualization reduces the cost of managing applications distributed to users. This solution provides 99.99% service availability, and it is proven by implementation of more than 25 million applications with over 100 million users worldwide.
